"No new dives found" is not an error message. It means that the latest dive has been downloaded already, and downloading has stopped. Is this not the case? Are you saying that those 10-12 dives are *newer* than the latest dive in your log?

If so, please follow the instructions here:

http://www.mac-dive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=407

Please email me the results, and also send me your MacDive.sqlite file. I need to investigate that, as it's not a problem I have ever seen before.

As for downloading: please try version 2.0.6 (http://www.mac-dive.com/downloads/MacDive_2.0.6.dmg) and do a few downloads, and tell me if that is more consistent/better. You will need to backup and remove your existing data first.

I just plugged in my D9 (which is essentially the same as the D4 in terms of downloading) and did two full imports of every dive, then deleted the last 10 dives and imported those again, on my main machine. No problem at all. Then I imported all the dives on to my laptop too. No problem there either.

This is with 2.1.0 and an official suunto cable. The device is full, so each full import is downloading as much as it ever will.

Have you tried a different cable? Do you know someone that has an official suunto cable you could test, for a comparison?

Are you sure the contacts are all clean (and not wet)?

Until today Mac Dive has been working well with my D9tx. Today I have started getting the error below..
What the solution?

Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.usbserial-STUBL1BC' (Error Code: -5)
