Hi all,

Is somebody has tested with the official Suunto Cable? in this case is the driver mentioned above is working with this cable?

No, it's a different chip. You will need the FTDI driver. As far as I am aware it works fine.

Has anyone gotten the SmartInterface cable to work under Lion?

I think I can answer my own question, the driver at http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm appears to solve the problem.

I can confirm this driver solved the issue for me too. I have a Suunto Vyper 2 with a cheap SmartInterface cable from eBay.
