Totally appreciate this program.
Just bought a mac and couldn't find a dive program to use. Then I found Macdive. Awesome.
License bought and already using it a lot.
Couldnt download the backp files from the Suunto dive manager though, so only have the dives that were in the Helo2 ....

Did you get some kind of error I can look at?
For SDM, you need to go Tools -> Export and export your dives as a .SDE file, then import that to macdive (you can just drag and drop it onto macdive).

No Nick. I dont get an error. I have the .bak files on my external hard drive that I used with the old pc. I was just trying to import from there but it comes up as a grey shade.
This is the file: sdm_backup20100530.bak
I will try what you said. Thanks.

For what your saying Nick. Do I have to have the Suunto Dive Manager on a windows pc running. Unfortunately I only have the back up files as the pc died and i just purchased a mac.
I guess I could use someone elses pc if I have too. ???

Hi Nick, I also bought the multiuser license to support your effort in making a nice diving log app for the mac...
I still don't use it as all may dives are stored in weird UDDF 1.0 from Aquadivelog (Palm), I will convert them to UDDF 3.0 when its out and wait for integration int macdive

Alright - when it's final/out, send me a sample file and we'll get it working ASAP.
