I just bought 2 new Cressi Leonardo computers. Both were used on a dive this week in NC to test them out. They seem to have performed properly and have data present from the dives.
When I got home and tried to import the data into MacDive I am getting the following error message when working with both computers:
Import Error Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -7)
I installed the Cressi driver from the website prior to the import. Have tried 2 USB ports, removed and reinserted the cable into the computer dock, restarted my iMac (10.9.4) and also restarted MacDive (2.3.3).
I have not installed the software that shipped with the computers on a CD.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Taylor

Are they in PC transfer mode?

Yes. One of the two computers froze after receiving the error and is stuck in PCLINK mode - will not turn off. The other just got the error message.nick wrote:Are they in PC transfer mode?

Are you using a USB hub, or plugged directly in to the computer?

Directly into the iMac.nick wrote:Are you using a USB hub, or plugged directly in to the computer?
I took the battery out of the frozen unit which reset it.
After installing the Cressi software the units both now communicate with Mac Dive. Looks like this is resolved.
Thanks,

I have the same problem here. I connect it directly to my Mac.nick wrote:Are you using a USB hub, or plugged directly in to the computer?
The way I've solved it is by first opening Cressi Interface, forcing it to recognize the Dive Computer and after that, opening MacDive and and start downloading with no hassle.
As you can see, it's not big deal for me, but if you could solve it I'll appreciate it.

Still problematic on my end. It eventually will work but takes a lot of tries to connect.nick wrote:Ta. Will discuss with you there and see if we can figure out what is happening.
