I have a same problem with Lion, I can't any more add new pictures to gear profiles. It is not so big deal but a little annoying. Problem didn't exist with Snow Leopard.disco1999 wrote:OK found an issue with Lion compared with Snow Leopard . . .
Pictures don't drop anymore in the drag 'n drop feature when creating new gear pictures, leaving the picture frame blank
any workaround ?

Atom 2.0 works on Lion.
Re: OS X 10.7 Lion and beyond..
So far all is good with my Suunto D4 and a MacBook Pro.
Re: OS X 10.7 Lion and beyond..
Hi,
After a clean install of Lion on my macbook pro:
1) Mac-dive work fine
2) After installation of the FTDI driver, the import work also fine with my Suunto Vyper 2
Concerning the import of log book from Snow Leopard:
I copyied the mac-dive folder (the in application data) to my installation in Lion
Every thing has been correctly imported (dives, gears, sites, certification, etc.)
The only issue was the pictures of sites, gears. I was having a blank image instead.
To correct this, I came back to the mac-dive folder in the application data folder
I copyied all the picture corresponding to my gears, site and certification to a temp folder (the desktop)
I opened mac-dive and I updated manualy each gears, site, and certification.
The this which is not working, is when adding a picture to gear, certification, and other, I have to open if in order to have the popup of the objet, I cannot simply drag and drop the picture.

Annoying bug . . .
Gear purchase price:
by default my Mac Lion is setup this way... it is requesting this format: 0,00 $
so if I simply enter:
50
50.00 $
50,00 or even
50,00$
TWO identical windows appear, showing this error message: "The value 50 is invalid."
Is has to be entered exactly like this: 50,00 $ (space before $)

This is nothing to do with Lion/PDC compatibility, but I will check.

My Suunto Mosquito with a home made serial connector going through a USB-Serial adapter works fine with the same driver.seahermit wrote:My Suunto Stinger works fine, going through a USB-Serial Adapter. For info though, the Prolific 2303 driver from the Prolific website didn't work for me (nothing came through at all) but this one did work:

Re: OS X 10.7 Lion and beyond..
I have 2 Suunto D9's and both work with Lion. I keep getting an error Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.usbserial-ST000001' (Error Code: -5) when trying to download my dives from my D4i. I'm using Suunto cable and the driver listed on the Macdive website. I've also tried downloading to another Mac using Snow Leopard and it won't download. The dive computer shows Data Transfer when plugged into the Mac.
