Mac dive works perfectly with my wife's 2008 Macbook with Leopard, so the DRAK and cable are good,
But it wont work with my 2009 iMac or 2011 Macbook pro both with up to date Snow Leopard. June 2011
Have downloaded the recommended USB drivers. I have a green light on the DRAK unit.
But all I get is the -5 error.
Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev.tty.SLAB_USBtoUART'
Where to from here?
Have also tried all the USB ports and 2 different USB cables

Re: Mares Puck Macbook Pro
Have run the test app and sent it to you as per the instructions.
I actually got a successful download just now from the Puck to the Macbook Pro after re trying many times, jiggling the DRAK unit, putting the Puck in and out of PC mode.
Don't need to do this with the older Macbook, it just works every time.

Re: Mares Puck Macbook Pro
Can you ensure you unplug and plug the DRAK unit back in each time and see if that helps at all ?
Re: Mares Puck Macbook Pro
I think my problem is due to a flaky DRAK unit. Can't get it to transfer on a PC with the supplied software now.
Might be time to look at a different dive computer.
