iCloud sync with family shared MacDive

Post by CaptainChaos »

Hi. My wife and I have both started using MacDive, dive logs downloaded from Suunto Zoop Novo x2.
MacDive on my Mac works beautifully, however iCloud sync to iPhones only shows me my dives and wife cannot see hers.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Good day to you CaptainChaos!

On the iPhone can you touch the three dots in the bottom right corner, then touch Profile on the screen that comes up, then touch the person icon in the top right corner of the screen. This should show you all the divers that have dives recorded in the app. Hopefully you wife shows up in the list and when you touch her name it should shift to displaying her dives.

My families preferred way for showing dives by each of the divers in our family (we track all four of us in MacDive) on our iPhones is to create Smart Divelogs in the Mac version of MacDive by clicking on File, then on New Smart Divelog, then we setup the fields in the popup window to use the Diver field and to contain one of our names, then we create another Smart Divelog using someone else as the Diver, etc. These smart dive logs then get synced to the iPhone and can be seen from the primary screen which shows dives by Tags or Smart Logs.

Let us know if this works for your or if you require additional assistance.

Have a great day!
