Updating Site GPS

Post by acahir »

Is it possible to update a site's GPS coordinates by choosing a spot on the displayed map? I'm missing it if there is.

Thanks

Click hold & drag only seems to work at specific zoom levels and it does not include any gps coordinates. I too am struggling how to enter GPS coordinates. There seem to be no instructions on format etc. would be cool if app could simply utilize google earth gps coordinates…

Thoughts or feedback?

If you're referring to MacOS, type in the GPS coordinates in the search field:

Or, drag and drop the pin where you want it. Sometimes it takes the map a moment or a few to load.
If you're referring to iOS, select "Edit Location"

From there you can either drag the map around until the pin is where you want it, or in the bottom left corner, type in the GPS coordinates manually. I have found decimel degrees to be the most compatible format for coordinates here. Once you have it where you want it, go back a step and see the coordinates of whatever you just selected.

Hi,
I tried using your method for manual coordinate entry for the iOS version of MacDive, but it doesn’t work. I even converted the decimal gps coordinates to minutes and seconds and also from W to an E definition, but I always get the same error.
Auch suggestions?
