Hi everyone,
No updates or news from dev since September 2022. I hope you're well, Nick.
I can't wait to see what you have next for us in the future. Take care of yourself.

Re: Where is Nick?
I am wondering, too, whether the Software is still being maintained. No updates for a year while new computers keep coming out. No comments from Nick here for a long time. That is not a good development. I have even gone as far as to look for alternatives, but MacDive still fits my needs best.
@Nick: if you don't want to continue, maybe you can make it opensource so that at least this great app survives?

Re: Where is Nick?
Just got my gear serviced after a several year dry period and was checking about updating MacDive, a bit surprised that it doesn't look like it's updated in quite some time.Simone wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 4:37 pm I am wondering, too, whether the Software is still being maintained. Not looking to jump to another product yet, but curious if you or anyone else has found an alternative that's still actively worked on?
Re: Where is Nick?
Hi
Alternatives that are still actively worked on (to the best of my knowledge):
Subsurface: Linus Torvalds started the app, now it's opensource. Very good for technical diving. Not really "beautiful" for a Mac user I think
https://subsurface-divelog.org/
Divelog: Greg is still actively working on his app. To the best of my knowledge he is e.g. the only one to support the newish Apeks computer.
https://moremobilesoftware.com/DiveLogDT/
Basic data can be exported to either apps. When it comes to specific data like equipment, there is no export to either to the best of my knowledge.
I stick to Macdive for the moment being because I have lots of pictures in the app and don't want to loose them. No other app supports pictures for the moment.
