Visibility auto entries

Post by alanl50 »

When I am entering visibility in the Dive Inspector (Mac OS) it tries to automatically bring up previous entries. It will not allow me to enter a different entry. For example, I had 20 feet in a previous entry. When I try to enter 2 feet (yes it was actually that bad) it keeps bringing up the previous 20 feet entry, and even when I delete the 0 it brings it back. I know that this is a 'feature' to recall previous entries to make it easier to enter, but I can't seem to figure out how to make the new entry.

Your help would be appreciated.

When the 0 appears just press Delete on your keyboard.

When I hit delete, to remove the 0 it just reenters it again. It will not allow me to change it.

Using Mac OS 10.15.6

The other workaround is to type it somewhere then just paste it in. Which is stupid, but should work. The auto complete sucks.

I finally figured it out. The auto entry was 20 to 30 feet. to change this to 2 to 3 feet I had to delete everything after the 2 and then reenter the rest.

Thanks for your help.
