This is behavior I don't expect. When I delete all pictures in (Dive Inspector: Photos), the entire dive is deleted. To repro:
1. Upload photos to a dive
2. Select all photos using Command-A
3. Delete using Command-Delete
(There is a warning that items will be deleted from iCloud.
4. Select OK
(The entire dive is deleted)
This came up as I was trying to sync photos to MacDive and had problems determining the exact offset needed to get the pictures to upload.

Re: macOS: Dive Deleted When All Photos Deleted
Command Delete is to delete a dive.
To delete photos, select them and right click then choose delete.
Update: I have fixed this for the next release, as it's caught people out before. Now Command+Delete or just Delete will delete the selected images if the Inspector photos tab is visible. Otherwise, the selected dives will be deleted as usual.
