Hi,
Have just downloaded your MadDive Program and the equivalent USB driver for my MAC compter.
I have a Suunto Vyper that I wish to download my dives from, but when I hit the Import Button it comes up with:
Import Error - Failed to read Header Info (Error Code: -5)
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Regards

Re: Suunto Vyper - Unable to connect
What kind of cable are you using? What USB driver did you install? Are you plugged into a USB hub, or directly into the computer?
There is also a topic here:

Can you follow those, using "vyper", and email us the output?
Cheers

Re: Suunto Vyper - Unable to connect
I got that error when:
a) I had the wrong port selected. Go to macdive preferences => advanced and click "scan" (when your cable is plugged in). If you run the following command (from a Terminal window) a few seconds after you plug in the cable, you will see the new device pop up
ls -ltr /dev/ | tail
b) once you connect the computer to the cable, you need to set the vyper into "pc transfer mode". On my Suunto Vytec you go into the memory section, select "tr - pc" and hit "mode" to activate. Check your manual, it's probably similar.
