The sync feature with Macdive/Dive Log really is fantastic and so much nicer than using the Suunto software.
Only issue I have is that somethings appear to only sync one way - Mac to Dive
I got a buddy to sign a recent Dive on the iPad but it was lost in the sync. When I added it in Macdive it synced back to the iPad
Am I doing something wrong or is this on the wish list?

What version of MacDive are you using? Signature wasn't supported before 2.1.0. It is now, so if you're using a previous release it won't sync.
Otherwise, you need to check what is happening under "Dives" via the Sync Summary Screen. It's possible your MacDive data was updated after the Dive Log data, and the change wasn't considered. There are many factors at play during the sync, so it's pretty hard to say without a bit more information.
Check the help too, and read the iOS syncing guide there. It contains some info about how to see what will happen during the process etc.
