Sites : Visited / Not Visited

Post by dwilasnd »

Thank you for the KML update.

With the ability to dump a ton of sites into the system, could we have a toggle or a separate icon for sites we have dived vs. sites that we have loaded? This would give a map view of the dives that were completed.

I like this idea. I do have some wishlist places that I'd like to show separately.

I have implemented this for the next releases of both iOS and macOS. iOS has a toggle so you can filter for visited, non-visited, or all, along with a different icon. macOS only has the different icon (because I didn't really feel like messing with the interface).

Is there a database of popular dive sites one can import into MacDive? Or is everyone simply creating their wishlist of dive sites with GPS coordinates?
