EON Steel not syncing since firmware and Buhlmann upgrade

Since my EON Steel has come back from Suunto it fails to sync with my MacBook pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013 running Big Sur 11.4).
I get the following message "Download Error: MacDive encountered a problem downloading from your Suunto EON Steel:"
The EON works with Suuntolink so it looks like the connection from it to the Mac is fine.
Any ideas?
