has anyone tried to export dives from Macdive and to import into diviac (which I do not want to promote here!). Macdive among others offers DAN ZXU and UDCF format which Diviac only accepts, but the results are odd and flawed.

Then DAN ZXU export was built in conjunction with DAN, to their specifications. It works in their system, so I'd say anything issue is on their end.

Nick, thanks!

At the moment, I have the impression the problem is on Diviac's end ...

The upload of the exported files to DAN works (more or less), so they may be happy with the export as it is.

DAN were very specific about how they wanted the data. A *lot* of back and forth took place. So.. yeah. It would depend what the issue is on the diviac end, but I'd be hestitant to change anything without having more information and getting it sent through DAN to check things work. Since they're the primary user of the files :)

the problem with UDCF when uploading to Diviac is that German umlauts are not accepted and the import results are flawed.

As they present their platform (also) in German language they are in charge.
