Ipad as main device?

Hi, I'm new to Macdive and this forum. I've bought a family licence and downloaded MacDive onto my Macbook Pro which I've successfully downloaded my dives logged in my Oceanic Geo 2.0, however I'm leaving the country travelling for several months and wanted to take my iPad not the MacBook pro. I realise I would need a USB adapter for starters, but is there any way I could use the ipad as my main device and download from my Oceanic Geo 2.0 straight to iPad, leaving the Macbook Pro at home? From what I've read adn found so far this isn't possible. Is this the case or is there any way around it?

Cheers.

No, you can't download from the geo to your ipad. You can just download the dives when you get home though. Just make sure not to set your sample rate too short.

Depends on the device and setup though.

Taking a laptop on every holiday just for the syncing of my dive computers too.
It's annoying, but unavoidable for now I guess.
