Dropbox sync fails with no error that I can see. The progress bar starts up then quickly goes away. Just got a new Mac, rather than use cloud sync to move to the new Mac I opted to use the file copy method because I have too many dive pictures to sync and I wanted to retain them in my database. Better late than never: Just to complete this this thread, my problem turned out to be a broken contact inside the interface.
A little solder in the right place and it was working again.

The site no longer exists. There used to "USA, Volant PA, Strawberry" now there is not. So I have a bunch of dives with blank spaces in the listing and "No Site Selected" on the Info site pane. There are also a few other sites that have gone missing so I have to figure out which ...

About 60-80 of my dives seem to have lost location and site name. They seem to be all just three or four specific locations. this happened sometime last night running the previous version and syncing with my iPhone, now running 2.5.2 still no luck. Thanks, I may take you up on the offer to manually move photos when I get around to being ready.
If I do have duplicates/old stuff, should I try optimize database?
But before I do there is another problem- I'll start a new thread.

Hadn't thought to do them in-situ in the MacDive data stores. That will work for me. Was kind of wondering if MacDive did anything to reduce the size, guess not. I use Lightroom and Graphic Converter, I'm sure one or the other of them will handle the batch resizing no problem I am apparently up to 6...

Lots of photos... that would be me. Tried to sync them but did't get them all on dropbox before it filled up. So I turned off sync photos but dropbox is still filled up. Is this where I want to reset cloud data? Thinking of a couple courses of action re to many photos. Actually pay for dropbox - mmm...

Seem to be having a similar problem with my puck. Although the light never goes red at all, i get the same error message. Puck is in PC mode, contacts are clean and dry.
