You can type any certification you want in to a certification. Make sure the diver matches, I believe it filters on diver.

The code is the same as iOS. Try quitting/restarting the app, or rebooting.

Try exporting a database backup from suunto dm instead. It is better than XML.

Or just import all the dives then delete them in MacDive, that would be the best option.

Try syncing again. If that doesn't work try deleting the image from the Mac, then adding it again and syncing.

Weird, someone else reported a similar issue yesterday. I ended up sending him a beta that worked around it so he could fix the logs.

You need to reset the cloud fully (see https://www.mac-dive.com/help/mac_04_02_reset.php). Editing the database yourself is not a good idea.
