Re: How about the ability to change the CSV delimiter?

My data in the location column is almost always something like "Town, State", like "Boston, MA". I just opened an export in TextEdit and now that I look at it it looks correct: "32.00", "2008-06-01 09:34:00 -0400", "Webster, MA", "31.00", &...

How about the ability to change the CSV delimiter?

I know it's called a comma separated value file for a reason, but it would be helpful to be able to change the delimiter to something else on an export. I have a lot of location data that has a comma in the value, and the export is being parsed funny by open-office. If there was a way to select &quo...

Re: UI and usability comments/suggestions/requests

I'd like to see if you could have the program populate the 'Computer' field in the dive information automatically when you drag a gear object to the dive gear list that is of type 'computer'. Perhaps if you are dragging several computers into a single dive, then the last computer dropped would popul...

Tank size?

So, I feel a little ignorant for not knowing this, but it seems that the common Aluminum 80 cylinders as made by several (all?) tank manufactures are not actually 80 cu ft tanks, but rather 77.4 cu ft. My question is, when I enter a value of '80' in the tank size field on a 'Tank' gear item, is the ...

(Null) string seen in Gear Objects

This is small but it seems like a bug so I'll write it up. If you add a new gear item to your gear list and add that item to a gear group, but fail to assign a manufacturer in the object, when you see the object in the group screen it has a title like: "(null) Thing-you-added" rather than ...

Re: Working Pressure

1. Go to the Gear Section.
2. Add a new piece of gear.
3. Open that gear object, and set it to type 'Tank'.

When you do step 3, two fields appear on the bottom of the gear dialog, Working pressure and Tank Size. Make sure to hit return after you enter values, they seem to not save unless you do.

Re: UDDF support

This looks like the official post to add my desire to see UDDF import added to the 'to do' list. It's the last piece of the puzzle as far as importing my data from several other applications cleanly.

Re: UDCF Import and the <PLACE> Element

Further investigation reveals that a UDCF export from Mac Dive 2.0.2 does not correctly import back into the Mac Dive log book. The Country, Location and Site fields are all concatenated and stored in the dive site column of the log table. The Country and Location columns are left as unknown. The UD...
