Re: iOS doesn't sync anymore with Mac
Thanks for the swift response Nick. Any preference on which one I should keep on? Perhaps the one with the majority of changes? Sadly I believe I made changes on both, but the Mac should be the one with most changes. Should I keep that (hence use it for reset) and disable the other? Or it doesn't ma...

iOS doesn't sync anymore with Mac
I sync my Mac and iOS via Dropbox. The sync generally works well. Lately I started to have issues every once in a while. Generally they were caused by minor issues I was able to debug. Sadly, the error reporting around sync errors is lacking details. One time I was via VPN and apparently iOS refused...

String case issue causes sync to stop working
This is a follow up to my reply here http://www.mac-dive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2452 After extensive investigation, I believe I found what happened. Yesterday I created on iOS a new site. I did not realize I already had it, and I re-created it with only a small difference in the case sens...

Re: Perdix dives disappear on IOS when syncing
I am currently experiencing a similar issue. I have a Perdix, I downloaded a dive yesterday. I use Dropbox sync. Both iOS and Mac reported a successful sync, but I can't get my Perdix dive from my iOS to my Mac. I disabled/enabled the sync on the iOS, it didn't work. I also created an extra dive as ...

Re: Tracked location workflow
I generally download the dives directly on iOS (as the Perdix allows it via Bluetooth). However, every once in a while I also use a different flow: 1. Before diving, if I have time e.g. during briefing or mooring, I create a new dive site and click EDIT LOCATION to immediately store the location bas...

Re: Site changes no longer reflected in All dives
This is the All dives list I am referring to. I can try to create a screencast as example to see if I can consistently reproduce it.

Identify critters doesn't work with multiple selection
The photo panel allows you to select multiple images. Then if you click right, you can see the identify critters panel. It was natural for me to think that the action would apply to all images. But when I closed the critters panel, I realized it was applied only to the first image. It's not a big is...

Dragging an image to the finder moves the original file
I needed to export a photo as I wanted to send it. I opened MacDive, and it was natural for me to select the image and drag it to the Desktop. What I didn't realize, is that this action actually moved the original file out of the MacDive folder. As a result, a while icon appeared, and I lost the ima...

Site changes no longer reflected in All dives
Hello, I've been noticing a strange behavior with new sites in the latest versions of MacDive. I currently use 2.9.4. My workflow is to download the dive to the iPhone from my Perdix, create the dive site (generally with GPS location), then sync it with the Mac. After synced, the Site doesn't genera...
