would be nice if site got it's lat/lon from the photo
Every site has a photo associated with it, and this is probably the nicest UW photo you took while diving the site. I also take a surface photo at the site, and when I do that with my iPhone or Olympus TG-1, the photo has the GPS location for the site. It would be nice if the dive site would take th...

count of lobster
Hi, I take lobster. it would be nice to be able to see how many I take each year (or each season, october to march), and also average by number of dives to know how good each season really is.

Same problem: I can download a random number of dives, never more than 20 or so, with macdive. There are some older dives on my sensus that I logged before getting macdive, can't get them out with anything but the reefnet software. so Ive tried the new driver, several drivers really. Started with 10...

Re: OSX 10.7 Lion & Sensus Ultra
thanks, I was hoping I found something helpful with some kind of import buffer, which would probably be in the OS or serial driver, anyway.

Re: Problem merging dives
yup, merge/join is working with the beta.
Once you join a dive, re-importing missing dives will re-import one of the dives you merged.

Re: OSX 10.7 Lion & Sensus Ultra
Hi, just checking in to see if there is any update. I'm running 10.7.3 macbook pro, 3.06 GHz, 8GB ram. It's a couple years old. macdive 2.1.3. (being able to sort by import time is a huge help, I end up with a lot of duplicate dives testing this) serial driver is the one recommended by reef net, rev...

Re: OSX 10.7 Lion & Sensus Ultra
Same problem here. No downloads, not a single dive, under lion.
Macbook pro about a year old. 3.06GHz intel core 2 duo. If it takes more than that to run a serial port in the year 2011, something's wrong.

Re: importing from excel, handmade xml question
ah, I assumed all xml was the same. thanks. Yeah, I used an exported xml to learn the syntax. I tried the same with a sample udcf file, but it didn't have some fields, like tags. Thanks!

importing from excel, handmade xml question
After years of keeping dives in a lot of notebooks and a lot of computers, I moved it all over to excel. Now I'd like to move it all to macdive, and I tried using xml. I copied the divelog syntax, I think, and added columns to excel with the xml tags. Then I export from excel as csv, get rid of the ...
