Re: Location tracking, it'd be nice if it shows nearby sites
Your app works so well that I have more dive sites in it than in my GPS, so when I'm on a boat, I find myself looking at your app, not my GPS, and saying, hey look, the captain is taking us to 3 fingers reef again, I remember that place, I have pictures of it.

Location tracking, it'd be nice if it shows nearby sites
When tracking location, it would be nice to see existing sites on the map so you know if you're close to a logged site, maybe with a transparent blue circle to know when you are diving "within range" of an existing site.
thanks.
thanks.

bug, site location from IOS?
Hi Nick, I think I found a bug. Track location using the IOS app. Upload dives to the IOS app. Sync over to mac. Enter a location for a dive on the mac at a new site. The site does not have GPS coords, I'd expect that. Sync data over the phone. The phone now knows about the new site and puts a locat...

Re: Import from excel
ah, excellent. Is it just a random unique string or does it have any data embedded in it, how do I create an identifier? I assume same length and pattern as the one from the existing dive.
thanks.
thanks.

Re: Import from excel
Reactivating an old thread, in case my issue helps others with the same problem. I also have a bunch of dives in excel. I've never had luck getting them into macdive, but the new IOS functionality makes me want to get everything in and use it more, so I'm trying again. I've tried exporting an existi...

Re: Sensus Ultra
See if you can get it to work with any other software, including the actual downloader that reefnet makes. As nick says, it's probably a driver issue and you probably won't have any luck, but you never know. Better to get the data on your laptop in the reefnet app, it's better than nothing.

Re: iPhone App Feedback
Nick, this is awesome. Thanks so much. Really nice UI. This really makes me want to get more data into the log and spend a lot more time with the tools and stats you're giving us. One feature request: it'd be nice to buffer maps somehow. I'm often offshore, out of cell coverage, and I hope the maps ...
