Were you backing it up in the cloud? Or on another device, like in MacDive for iOS?

You can change to "number dives sequentially" since you only have one diver.

You can fix the numbering just by ⌘+a to highlight all the dives and ⌘+r to renumber them.

If it can sync with MacDive, I may pull the trigger. Definitely need my Perdix for more advanced dives. I think it's going to be at least a couple more models before it's truly a competitive model against existing manufacturers like Shearwater, Garmin, and ScubaPro... unless Apple just buys one of ...

You can always number the dives by diver instead of sequentially, and sort them by diver that way.

My dive computer (Oceanic VT 4) is set to Nitrox but whenever I import data to MacDive, the gas model is Air. The dive figures match my other computer also set to Nitrox, and I’ve checked the manual so I think I can confidently say I’m not missing a setting and it is truly giving me numbers based on...

It sounds like you're using the features to keep one log with both divers. You could install MacDive on her laptop/computer and keep two separate logs that way, with different iCloud logins... but then you wouldn't have both logs in once place.

I would appreciate this too, for SSI and/or PADI.

I have automatic sync disabled on all my devices, yet MacDive still syncs without me initiating it. It overwrites data I'm working with. Any suggestions?
