Re: Shearwater Petrel

Any chance the Shearwater Petrel will be supported? In the market for a new computer to take me into tech diving. The Predator has been on the list for a while, but with the recent announcement of the Petrel, I'm re-evaluating my list. If you are serious about Tech Diving, I would also recommend th...

Re: Tank management and doubles

What I did to counter all this is in the gas management "cmd + T" create a tank that's of the size of both tanks. Hmm that ain't really clear :) So I dive with a twin 10L so I created a tank called Twin 10L with a size of 20L. It sorted everything for me and I don't have to use the double ...

Re: 2.1.3 sync with iOS Dive Log not working?

@ drew I just tried to download dives from my OSTC 2N and it worked perfectly fine. I don't know if it was your first time trying to download dives but make sure the OSTC is turned on (surface mode) before hitting download, otherwise it won't download.

I hope that helps

Re: What dive computer should I purchase?

It's hard to answer your question right away, we need a bit more info. What's your current level ? how often do you dive ? what kind of dive are you doing ? what do you plan to do later (nitrox, trmix) ? Where do you dive (sea, lake, cave etc) ? There is a plethora of dive computer out there so answ...

Deleting dive site/location

After updating to the new version, I took my macdive.sqlite backup and reinstalled it in the appropriate folder and 2 unwanted things happened. 1) all the dives where properly put back in the program with every correct info but Mac Dive create a new dive numbered 0 for each dive I had logged. So bas...

Re: Import errors with OSTC 2n

o2%, i made a few dives with nitrox 32%, but after downloading them mac dive said 21% I don't remember having that problem with my OSTC but I need to check. Worst case scenario, this will be corrected with the new patch release. ambient temperature, it's set to 00 in macdive when i download dives f...

Re: Shearwater Predator

I'd be interested in support as well, I'm in the market for a new computer as well. The D9 is a nice computer, but not so good with big gloves on. If you are looking for a new dive computer that is supported by Mac Dive, I would sugget to take a look at the OSTC 2N. http://www.heinrichsweikamp.net/...

Re: Surface Interval vs. Bottom Time entry

I remember having the same problem when manually entering dives where I thought it would be hh:mm while in fact it was mm:ss.
When I would look at my SAC and something like 3000L/min I thought I might have done something wrong.
I laughed so hard at my sillyness :)
