Tags on iOS can be selected from check boxes but seem to need to be entered in manually (potentially creating variants of the same tag) on Mac OS. Am I missing a way to see a list of tags that have already been created?

I am having trouble figuring out how to add a dive site manually to a map (on Mac OS version of Mac-dive). If I know the GPS coordinates I can add it (and it shows up on the map with a dive site icon). If I don't know the GPS coordinates (without getting them from Google Maps) I can't seem to find a...

What am I missing? I have MacDive for my iPhone and thought I'd buy MacDive for my Mac as well. But I can't seem to find anything on how to sync them up. Help.
