I wasn't able to solve this but did manage to import my dives to Subsurface. Unsure why the dive computer worked with that but not MacDive.

Suunto Vyper won't connect to MacOS 14.0
Hello. I have a Suunto Vyper with a Suunto USB-A cable. I installed the latest MacDive (which I intend to buy if I can get this working) and am using a USB-A to USB-C connector cable for the Suunto to Macbook Air (no USB-A ports on Macbook Air).
