Re: Synching issue

Hi Nick,
The change was in the edit. It was a location. If I make a change to a location on the MacDive app, it should sync that to the phone and update the dives that use that location, yes?

Synching issue

the sync from iOS device to MacDive works flawlessly. My issue is when I try to sync back, none of my changes I made sync back to the iOS device. I've tried setting up a new logbook on the iOS device, but that fails also, instead of dives 1-end (that shows in my MacDive) I get a dive 0, multiple div...

Re: What are the units displayed for SAC?

Hrm, I don't know why they would be off by that much, given that it's formulaic. You might want to consult Nick with a x-post to the support forum.

Re: What are the units displayed for SAC?

Richard,
Once I've assigned my tank and the beginning/ending pressures, my Dive Inspector (Cmd-I) under "General" shows x.xx CF/min (which should equate to Suunto's SCFM)

Re: Site/location/country pulldown--any way to clean out jun

AFAIK, Unknown Location > Unknown Country > Unknown Site is the generic "Placeholder" location for all imported dives (until you update it). My thoughts would be that this therefore can't be deleted. You can however, update your dives with a location other than "unknown" and that...

Re: Manually editing raw data

Nick,
If that functionality comes with time, that would be great. However, I'm sure there are other, more pressing features you'd like to to get in first.

Best,
B.

Manually editing raw data

Nick, Many thanks for showing the Raw data, because it identified a problem with my GEKKO.. it's been "self diving" on me. Fortunately I'm 1y11m into my 2y warranty to I get a repair/replace (and the GEKKO is OOP so I'll likely get the ZOOP out of the deal!) At the end of a few of my recen...

Time-zone support

Ran into a gotcha this morning after trying to print logs from my trip to Hawai'i ( 6 hours behind me). I had manually adjusted my D/T settings on my Dive Computer (Gekko), and imported.. just fine. All was dandy, until my mac set itself back to my local timezone.... now my dives show up in my local...

Re: Suunto with mac.

Suunto finally got off their high horse, and the replacement for the Gekko (the ZOOP) allows you to import dives to SDM on Windows. However, that doesn't help us Gekko divers... what does is a little program that (will void your warranty, though if you change the setting back I'm not sure how they'd...

Re: Using C-card images in lieu of actual cards

A caveat: While the advent of the internet is entirely wonderful, not all dive operations have access to / can access at the time, the various cert. orgs. web presences. With that in mind, I carry my c-card, and a photocopy of front and back taped to my paper log, and a digital copy of front and bac...
