Re: Lost data from 50+ dives from sync
Yeah, just time consuming. She has all the paper logs and the 62 dives are from earlier in her dive career before a downloadable computer. I guess 62 dives is a small price to pay for a reminder about backups!!!

Re: Lost data from 50+ dives from sync
I'm guessing what happened was the iPhone synced to the mac before the mac synced and caused it to revert back before the 62 dives were added. The iPhone had the previous state minus 62 dives. I should have deleted the app or disabled sync on the phone *and* backed up the data before syncing from ma...

Lost data from 50+ dives from sync
Well the wife is pretty annoyed. She created around 50 dives on the MAC OS version and then filled in data from logbook then batch renumbered. All seemed to be good and then when we went in and tried to sync all the new data with her iPhone, all of the data (several hours worth) disappeared. Is ther...

DeepBlu Cosmiq work-around
For anyone who has a Cosmiq, there is a website that you can login with your DeepBlu creds and it will download a UDDF file that you can import to Macdive. It works pretty well!! https://worldofnonging.com/deepblu-tools/

I guess I deserved that!!
I believe I can then select all the new dives and then batch re-number them via the manually renumbering starting at number XXX?

Bulk Manual New dive creation?
I finally got my wife using Mac Dive. Here is the issue. I've imported her previous dives up through 250. She then started just logging in her written dive log. She just got a new Shearwater Perdix AI and started importing at dive 460'ish. Is there a way to bulk create a batch of new dives numbered ...

Re: Uwatec SmartTRAK to MacDive migration
Hi Nick, Have you been able to do this yet? I have a file I can send if you need. I am trying to convert my GF to a MacBook Air and run MacDive and she currently uses a Galileo Sol. Thanks! Actually: I have a tool that should be able to read the Smart Trak database on Windows. Can you send me the or...

Edit Dive Site names and locations
Is there a way to modify / delete countries, locations or dive site names? I have made a couple mistakes in spelling or location and just want to try to clean up the list. Please let me know. Thanks!!

Failed to Migrate Data
Just downloaded and tried to run. Currently using Divelog 1.3.2 and wanted to try MacDive as I am moving to an Oceanic VT3. I got the error message "Failed to Migrate Data" and "Macdive failed to update it's database. Usually this means you were using an incompatible data version. Ple...
