I installed the 2.2.18 version of the FTDI driver from the FTDI website, and the PID/VID is identical to the one from the smartinterface site... sudo kextload FTDIUSBSerialDriver.kext doesn't give an error message... I have a VMWARE but have bad experiences using windows this way with USB devices.

Ok, deleted everything that looked like FTDI from extensions. Installed the FTDI driver from the smartinterface site again. In the mean time I have done the following; deleted the 2.2.16 driver and reinstalled the 2.2.18 driver as it is more recent. Hi, I love the new 2.0 version. Just have a problem with the Dive site pull down It is populated with all 45 sites from 5 countries, 25 locations and 38 sites..
