Re: Cannot Buy License
Good day to you claydoh86! Unfortunately the developer of this software has not been around for a few years now, which is causing the software to be delisted on many of the Apple stores around the world. There are some really nice alternatives to MacDive that are currently available and being active...

Re: Will MacDive has a future?
Good day to all of you! I am in the process of transitioning to BlueDive. It is a very nice app that is getting better and better each month. The developers are very responsive and keep adding new features all the time. Importing Dives and gear from MacDive works really well at this time. Once they ...

Good day to you marcusdoshi!
I use MacDive on my MacBook Air running the m5 Apple Silicon chip. It seems to run fine for me.
Have a great day!

Re: Contact for Nick Shore
Good day to you aslesin1221! Unfortunately I have not been able to get a hold of Nick in the past couple of years. In another post on the forum there are people who are working on projects to replace MacDive with different software packages. At least one of them (BlueDive) is an open source project ...

Good day to you Flipper! We just recently upgraded to a MacBook Air with M5 Silicon chip. We did the same thing, where we copied the app over from the old computer to the new one. To get the app to realize it is a licensed copy and not just the Trial version we searched our old computer for a file t...

Good day to you ventrilok77!
Nice to hear you are working on a diving software package for the Apple devices. Are you intending that it will be open source or for sale in the future? Are you looking for any assistance on the project?
Have a great day and have fund diving (and coding)!

Hi ScubaMike!
I have not used Avalonia C# although I have used a bunch of C, C++, Objective C, and C# environments in the past. I am currently working on learning Swift.
What did you have in mind?
Have fun and great diving!

Re: Dropbox Synch: Workaround 🤔
Hey there FlaParrotHead! I see your location as being in Bonaire... we visited twice in 2023... really hope we can get back there soon. Regarding your question, unfortunately I do not have a good suggestion for you. We gave up on the Dropbox sync feature and just switched to using a joint iCloud acc...

Good day to you drmjdoyle! I am quite certain (not 100% sure, but fairly certain) that it is stored in a Hidden Folder on your iCloud Drive where all your apps that use iCloud store their information. Have you looked at the Frequently Asked Questions on the Mac Dive site about moving data from one d...

Re: Edit Dive Site Name for batch correction
Good day to you drmjdoyle! If you filter your list of dives to be just those with the incorrect location then you can select them in the list and click on the inspect button (an I inside a circle) and change the location on all of them at the same time. Let me know if that does not work for you. Hav...
