Re: Swift AI GPS Backfill Tool for MacDive

Great!

You did the hard work and the current version incorporates the solution you identified along with a guard to prevent running if a .bak exists. The other difference is that we geolocate the coordinates, if possible.

Re: Swift AI GPS Backfill Tool for MacDive

Ah, I didn't add a name to the DB before geolocating the position. I have a replacement on GitHub now that should work. Please let me know either way. Just in case it wasn't obvious, you do need to restore the backup and run on the original MacDive database. https://github.com/rbollar/macdive-swifta...

Swift AI GPS Backfill Tool for MacDive

I wrote a small utility that extracts GPS coordinates from the Shearwater Swift AI transmitter data already sitting in your MacDive database and backfills them into your dive sites. If you dive with a Shearwater computer paired with a Swift AI GPS, your dive computer records entry and exit GPS on ev...

Re: Unable to purchase MacDive for MacOS

I think you have your answer.

DiveLogDT is pretty good -- it's my backup plan if MacDive completely stops working -- and it will import MacDive files.

Re: Shearwater Swift GPS

I expect the answer is no, but I’d like to know, too. I own most of the iOS dive logs, but I’m not looking forward to switching.

Thanks!

I got to go to the Maldives and I completed my first dives in over a year. I was reminded how much I enjoy using MacDive macOS and iOS to log my dives.

Re: Place to enter gradient factors

If you are using a Shearwater as your info suggests, then this has been the case for quite some time already (the deco model will be populated with the GF's). The next release has separate fields for them as well. Yes & thanks. I also have a Suunto Eon Steel with the Buhlmann upgrade. I can set...

Re: Place to enter gradient factors

A +1 for this. I currently enter the text manually like ZHL-16C GF 40/85. If I could just have one of my prior selections remembered as a dropdown, that would be fine with me.

Re: Sites : Visited / Not Visited

I like this idea. I do have some wishlist places that I'd like to show separately.

Bluetooth Data Sync Between iOS / iPadOS / macOS

I’m just curious if this is feasible, or so difficult that it’s not worth discussing... I find my ideal workflow uses all three versions of MacDive. I use iOS to geolocate the dives. I upload the pictures to the iPad. When I get home, I add the pictures to MacDive on Mac and then I tag them on iPad....
