Re: Garmin Descent MK2i

As with the MK2 you can go to connect.garmin.com and download the original file and import that into MacDive by simply dragging the .FIT file onto Macdive's dive list. Works for me with the MK3

Re: macdive purchased account help

When in Macdive, go to the settings. Under "General" at the very bottom, you see "Show Macdive folder in Finder". This opens the folder where the license sits. As said before, it ends in ".mdlicense".

Re: Where is Nick?

Hi Alternatives that are still actively worked on (to the best of my knowledge): Subsurface: Linus Torvalds started the app, now it's opensource. Very good for technical diving. Not really "beautiful" for a Mac user I think https://subsurface-divelog.org/ Divelog: Greg is still actively wo...

Re: Where is Nick?

I am wondering, too, whether the Software is still being maintained. No updates for a year while new computers keep coming out. No comments from Nick here for a long time. That is not a good development. I have even gone as far as to look for alternatives, but MacDive still fits my needs best. @Nick...

Re: Garmin MK2i compatability

My workflow on the Mac is as follows: Connect MK2 and Mac with the Garmin USB cable Start Commander One (is a payed software, but is worth it in my eyes) Make sure that MTP support is activated in Commander One (Preferences/Extensions/MTP Devices) In Commander One open the drive "Descent Mk2i&q...

Eon Steel - new iPhone

Hi My iPhone 7 and my Suunto EON Steel had a happy time synching for the last few months. Now, I bought a new iPhone 8+, removed the pairing from the EON, started synchronizing with MacDive on the iPhone 8+, typed in the pairing code, everything OK so far. Then I started synchronizing and saw "...

Synchronizing dive numbers

Hi, I just moved from another SW to MacDive today because I want Bluetooth with my EON Steel. Love it so far. One little problem: I imported everything from the old SW on my Mac, partly automatically, partly manually. After that, I had 364 dives. I started iCloud sync and had everything on my iPhone...
