Dropbox —- Please

Nick. Can you PLEASE see if you can get Dropbox properly and reliably working again for iPad and iPhone 18.x OS devices. If there is anything you need from users I’m sure we’d be willing and happy to help. Old devices that have been used with the app work sometimes, other times the app needs to be c...

Re: Initial synch on new iPad

Switch to iCloud sync. Dropbox sync is broken since iOS 18.0. I already reported it, but unfortunately there is no follow up. I had the same issue, it started when I bought a new iPhone that was shipped with iOS 18 already. I was forced to migrate from Dropbox to iCloud. I think this may be a gener...

Re: Initial synch on new iPad

@nick

Can I please get some help getting this working on a new device. Dropbox synch just hangs at 1%, no errors and the device is authorized for Dropbox. Thanks!

Initial synch on new iPad

Moved to correct forum…

A new iPad, clean install of MacDive and it hangs at 1% on trying to synch from Dropbox. The iPad had Dropbox access via the app and browser.

What am I missing? Thanks!

iOS 17

Can any users confirm that MacDive works fine on iOS 17?

@nick are you planning any updates to the app related to the new OS?

Thanks.

Dropbox event files - excessive

I am suddenly seeing Dropbox uploads of event files happening sometimes many uploads with the same time stamp, happening many times throughout the day … while our computer uploads are to our iPads, these event uploads are coming from an iOS Mac also running MacDive synching to the same Dropbox. Has ...

Re: Critters: Dives where tagged

@shadallark - that’s exactly what she was looking for - Thanks! I 5ink se may have been looking only within the dive details tab. This is perfect!

Critters: Dives where tagged

Nick., on the iOS app, would it be possible to add a link under Critters that will show all dives where the user has tagged that particular critters? It would really help with fish ID, Reef survey work, etc.

Re: MacDive Sync to two different apple ID

nick wrote: Sun Apr 10, 2022 10:24 am No, you have to sync to the same account.

If you want to use different apple ids then consider syncing via Dropbox instead.
Nick…. Have you been able to find the problem users are now having with Dropbox synching? Thanks very much.
