MacDive feedback
Hi Folks I have been using MacDive for many years, and for one reason or another I have used a number of different dive computers. Most recently I am using a Shearwater Perdix AI, and a Scubapro Matrix H. I am amazed at how easily and quickly your software recognized, connected, and downloaded from ...

Air pressure data disappears
Hi Folks; I've been using MacDive for years and it is excellent and I am very happy with it. Recently I did come across an odd issue. The scenario is that you have selected a default tank in the gas section. You do a dive and then upload the dive to your Mac. So far so good. You've used an air integ...

Suunto Vyper Novo alarms have wrong label
Hi folks. Just came back from diving in the Cayman Islands and was reviewing my dives on MacDive. During a few dives I noticed a PPO2 alarm on MacDive which corresponded to Tank Pressure Alarm on the Suunto at 700 PSI. It was consistent so it appears to be a cross reference label issue. (I think) I'...

Re: Metric SAC rate off by a factor of 10 or so
Your tank size is probably still in imperial (80 litres). Tank sizes are not translated. Yes, you are correct. Not only does the tank data have to be metric but the data is in tank volume measured in how much water it would hold, as opposed to how much air can be compressed. So a 100 cuft tank whic...

Metric SAC rate off by a factor of 10 or so
I recently switched my dive computer to metric, and then selected metric for MacDive. All units convert ok except SAC rate. My normal rate is about 0.5 to 1.0 cuft/min. However, the SAC rate now shows up in the range of approx 130 to 190 litres/min. It should be about a tenth of that. My normal rate...

That did the trick. Not sure what happened to the original driver but all is well. Many thanks. Barry

Suunto will not download to MacBook running Mavericks
I am using MacBook Air running Mavericks 10.9.2 and am no longer able to download dives from my Suunto Vyper using the Suunto interface cable. The downloads work fine using the Suunto DM4 software with the same hardware. I had been downloading dives using MacDive up until Sept. 2013 but when I went ...
