Got it figured out. Thanks guys. Took a while but it is basically a really crappy connector interface. I havd to hold the connector into the Veo applying pressure but then it works. And this is the $100 Oceanic Connector. got to admit for the cost of the Veo 3.0 and this connector I would have hoped...

Battery good.
Unit completely dry.
tried plugging in both ways (weird that should be error proofed)
Still no connection.

Sorry I tried reading a few posts and reading the trouble FAQ but still cant figure this out. I have a Mackbook Pro running OS X 10.6.8 I uploaded the drivers your site indicates. and ran them. re booted. connect Veo 3.0 cable to mac and Veo 3.0 and try to download my recorded dives.
