Should have said I have a Vyper 2 using Mac Lion

customidea.dot cable
Serial port dev/tty.SLAB_USBto UART (the other is a wifi driver)
downloaded FTDUSBSerialDriver_v2_16.dmg
and then the ...10-4_10-5_10-6 version
10 secs after trying to download I get 'failed to read header - error code-5'
