Getting buddy signatures from old paper logbook into Macdive

I'm a recent convert to Macdive for both OS and iOS. Love it. Prior to Macdive, I have been keeping a paper log with buddy signatures for each dive since I began diving 16 years ago. I've manually brought all those dives over into Macdive so I have a comprehensive electronic logbook. The only piece I'm missing so that I have everything in Macdive is a way to bring over those buddy signatures. I have not yet found a built in solution (other than trying to track down those dive buddies and have them re-sign via my iPhone.) A thought for getting those signatures over would be a feature that allows me to take a picture of the signature in my paper log book and attach that pic of the signature to the corresponding dive in Macdive so that displays for the signature. Just a thought.

Can you take a picture of your paper logbook and just add it as a photo?

The signature field isn't compatible with images, but attaching a photo is a reasonable way to track this for old paper dives.

Thanks. I'll use that as a solution.
