I am not getting a clean total for each year as some dives appear to be have been saved with 2 digits and some 4 digits.
when I look at individual dives the data (date format) appears the same, any thought?

That’s quite weird, I’ve not seen it before.

Can you please email me your MacDive.sqlite data file? Preferences > General > Show MacDive Folder in finder.

I will take a look.

MacDive is correct here. You have set those dates to "17", not "2017", so the statistics are correct.

If you open the Dive Inspector on the General tab and scroll through, you will see the difference between dates set to "17" and "2017".

Thanks.

I have never changed any setting since installing the app so not sure how the change came about.

Can you please give a bit more detail on the fix as I am unable to find the "dive inspector" I can not see anything under the general tab or any other the other tabs.

The Dive Inspector is covered in the user guide:

http://mac-dive.com/help/mac_01_04_dive_inspector.php

There's no change or setting at play here, it's simply that you typed in "17" instead of "2017" for those manually entered dives. So the fix is just to type in the correct year.
