USB download from Scubapro G2 fails on OS X

Trying out the trial (2.10.2) with my Scubapro G2 (v1.4 firmware) and downloading fails with "Failed to open hid device". This is Mojave, with the G2 in Disk mode while connected.

Can't try Bluetooth since my MBP doesn't see the computer to pair with, sigh. Thanks!

Use 2.10.3, which is the latest version, and should fix this.

I did get the 2.10.3 notification right away when I enabled checking for updates, but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.

On the other hand, I finally got BT(LE) downloads working, so while the issue is still an issue, I'll just use BT anyway. :)

When you plug the USB cable in, do you then select "Log" in the top-right corner on the G2 itself, to actually put it in to USB mode? Or are you just plugging it in?

I hit Disk (for USB disk mode) - I've since packed the unit for a trip, but will try Log when I arrive if that's the intended way to do it.

Disk is incorrect, it needs to be log - that’s your issue there. :)

Will assume it works, then! The best part is that Scubapro tech support wasn't able to help with either connection method.. :D

Yup, it should. Disk mounts it as a volume, like a USB key, so you can copy files back and forth. Log puts it in to PC mode, ready to download dive data.
