There are two bugs with certifications.

When you type in a custom cert type, there is then no way to select blank [no value] for a dive on the info screen.

If you turn on the certifications column and try to edit in place within the dives table, it pops up the editor for the Site instead.

Wow, that's pretty special. It does it for Diver as well.

I will look at this tonight after work, I'm pretty sure I know what's happening.

This was so utterly stupid. Thanks for letting me know. I've fixed it for the next release. There's a new beta available, feel free to drop me an email if you want it.
