"Invalid sample size"

I have an Oceanic OCS and have sync'ed to Macdive many times. Today I updated to 2.8.2 and, when I try to sync, get an error msg saying "invalid sample size". Any help appreciated, thanks.

Hello,
Nothing changed in 2.8.2 related to this so it is just a coincidence. However I need some data to look at as I can't debug it from your post.
Tools > Send Diagnostic Info
Choose "atom2" as the device and follow the instructions.
