Auto add images: Replace images

The feature "Auto add images" is a brilliant feature for us who tend to take many pictures during av dive. But I really miss the opportunity to replace an image.
Today I can not replace an image after it has been imported into MacDive. The reason I would like to do this, is to be able to reimport images after I have brushed them up in Lightroom. This is done quite often after initial import to MacDive.
Question: In the list with errors telling me images is already imported: could I force MacDive to overwrite the images already imported? The criteria should be image has same creation date as original image.
