This upgrade appears to have broken iOS sync for me.

You'd need to provide an indication of what is wrong at the very least. Nothing has changed with regards to syncing. What exactly is not working? Do you have an error message, or an example of what is not working?

Thanks

I just tested an iOS sync and it worked without any problem (just a gear modification to test it, I'll test a dive as soon as I can).

Literally nothing was happening - no error messages.

Now that I'm home from Cozumel, everything is back to normal. Might have been a temporary glitch in my wifi network there or something.

Ok, that is useful information to have. Often times on resort/hotel networks, firewalls can prevent getting a connection. An easy workaround is to create a private wifi network on your laptop, which can get around the problem.

Thanks

In this case, it was a network I control at my house in Cozumel.

For whatever reason, I'd been syncing all week with no problem. As soon as I installed the update, Mac Dive and Dive Log would each just sit there waiting for a connection. The first time I tried it in the states, there was no problem.

I'm completely willing to blame it on the network since I have no other plausible reason, but at some point when I'm back in May I'll have to figure out what's wrong with my network.

My update to 2.3.1 is hanging, and I don't want to kill it in case it corrupts the database. I simply have the "Upgrading..." bar which is at the end, but has been for about an hour. I have approximately 120 dives in the database, so not that many.

Any suggestions as to why?

I am on an iMac12,2 running OSX 10.9.1.

This is covered in the news post I made about the release - just click MacDive in the dock and the window will appear.
