Drag'n drop image support

Post by henrik »

It would be nice if I could just drag'n drop images from e.g a web page onto a dive. Friends often post pictures from dives we've done, and it would be so much easier to drag'n drop than to download and import.

I thought that worked. I'll look in to it.

Thanks! Yeah, I think it might have worked in the past, but was a while ago.

I've done this. You can now drag from a browser on to MacDive and the selected dives get the image added to them. I've only tested it briefly in safari and on a couple of websites but it seems to work so far. Will be in the next update, or drop me an email if you want to give it a shot and test it for me :)

Henrik kindly did some testing of this and noticed Firefox didn't work properly, so that's fixed up. I also noticed that dragging images from Safari to Gear, Sites and Certifications seemed to be broken (perhaps since Mavericks, it's been a while since I checked), so that is also resolved.

All coming in the next update, as soon as the rest is finalised.
