Choosing buddies out of the list of your divers

Post by bogaerbr »

Hallo,

Why can I not choose my buddies out of my list of divers?

After you type it in once, it will auto complete in the future.

And speaking of which, how can I delete a buddy from being auto completed?

I added someone recently, but spelled her name wrong. I corrected it later, but now the misspelled one shows up when I start typing.

There's something else I'd like, a buddy database where I can add details about certain buddies, like phone numbers, certs, DAN numbers, etc..

You've always got lots on the todo list. Probably why it's the best dive log program out there.

Thanks

I'd also like to know how i can delete things from the "auto-complete memory"

I have misspelled stuff in the "type" field and after every sync these misspelled things are synced to the iPhone and show up in there in the menu.

Are the suggestions you get from auto-complete stored somewhere in some sort of file where i can manually delete some entries? That would be great.

Has there been any update for this yet? I would like to delete some buddies from my list as well as other information.

Hope this is the right topic...

Until now i have about 400 dives imported into macdive. I still have about 700 to go (manually). If I go to statistics, general statistics,by buddy: I have only lines for buddies, because there are so much already. Can I somewhere select which ones to show (real friends ;-) or can there be such a button in the future?

kind regards
Bart
ps I like Macdive very much, I use it already three years

Ah, interesting. I suppose there could be a limit - the 10 largest, or something? Or perhaps the graph could scroll once there are too many. Let me look in to a way to make that better.
