Please try this new driver. I've had a few problems myself and this driver seems to help a lot, I can fairly reliably download the entire device now. It's a great help.

Please ensure you delete the old driver fully first. This is for Snow Leopard.

I still can only get the last dive out of the Reefnet, doesn't mater if I have selected to only import new dives or not.

Completely uninstalled the driver, then reinstalled as per the instructions. Had to su the command to kextunload though, but that shouldn't make any difference.

get 1 dive imported, then -5 error. Funny how it works with Sensus Manager from Reefnet, if they have some sort of trick they're using.

I've been speaking to Reefnet and they recommended this driver. It appears to work on my desktop though I'm still having a couple of issues on my laptop.

Looking in to it.

And I'm using a MacBook Pro, Late 2009 13" to be exact.

I like Reefnet, they seem to have really good support, and only 45 minutes down the road from me as well.

problems with reefnet continue. 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, multiple m

Same problem: I can download a random number of dives, never more than 20 or so, with macdive. There are some older dives on my sensus that I logged before getting macdive, can't get them out with anything but the reefnet software.

so Ive tried the new driver, several drivers really. Started with 10.6, 10.7, and now 10.8. Recently my 17" macbook died, and while they were trying to fix it I used a new air as a loaner. The 17 was ultimately unrepairable, and applecare gave me a 15". All 3 machines, same behavior, just a few recent downloads.

anyone having any luck?

At the risk of resurrecting a two year old thread, was there ever a resolution to downloading a Reefnet Ultra? I'm getting the message:

"Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -7)" when attempting it. I'm running 10.9.3. Thanks!

Did you try the alternate driver? I'm not sure if that is up to date these days. There is actually another third party one that would be worth a shot. I haven't downloaded my reefnet in a while, but last I did, everything came over. From memory it failed the first time and only got some of the dives, but was fine the second time. I may have just knocked it!

The other driver is here: http://nozap.me/driver/osxpl2303/

I haven't tried this myself, but I'll give it a shot this week. I have a few dives I should download anyway.

As it turns out, my data recorder is very old and the battery finally gave out so it is now officially retired. Fortunately, I found the dive data on my old laptop. Is there a way to import that into MacDive?

In what format? If it's something supported by MacDive, then yes. If not, you would need to convert it to a format that it can read.

It's in the reefnet format. The individual dives end in .dat
