Hey there,

A couple of small updates. Nothing too exciting sorry, mostly a bunch of bug fixes people have reported recently and some new devices. There are a few little performance improvements around the place however.

macOS v2.8.4
  • Added support for the Aqualung i200.
  • Added support for the Cressi Drake.
  • Added support for Ratio iDive2 Free, Easy, Deep, Tech+.
  • Added support for the Suunto D4f.
  • Added support for new Ratio firmware versions.
  • Shearwater Petrel/Perdix download improvements.
  • Total Dive Count in Profile is now the highest dive number.
  • Improved sorting of Photos in the Dive Inspector and Overflow.
  • General performance improvements.
  • Fixed display issue where alarms at the same place would cover each other.
  • Various bug fixes importing data from devices.
  • Fixed bug where Dive Inspector title wouldn’t update when changing sites.
  • Fixed obscure bug where if you changed timezone while MacDive was open, dates wouldn’t display correctly.
  • Minor misc bug fixes.
iOS v1.2.4
  • Add button to get directions to a dive site.
  • Improvements downloading from Shearwater devices.
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements.

Hi guys, im using Suunto Vyper Air and I really enjoy using the MacDive app. I have not had problems with the software up until today. Im on a vacation in Mexico and did 4 consecutive dives at the Cenotes. When i tried to download them into Macdive as usual, i was prompt to update the app beforehand, so i did. I downloaded the new dives, but the very first dive of today's series is missing. I dont know why, for some reason i cannot retrieve it, it says: "Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -7)". Do you have any idea why and how i can download it?
Thanks

First, this is nothing to do with the update - that's just a coincidence. Nothing changed with regards to the Vyper Air.

Most likely it's hardware related - either low battery or wet contacts, given you've just been diving. Make sure everything is dry and try again a couple of times. If that still doesn't work, then go to Tools > Send Diagnostic Info and choose "vyper2" as the device type. Follow the instructions.

I can't update. The installer stops at 15.7Mb and then crashes.

Perhaps just download it from the website then.

Love the Mac app but find the iOS version a little wanting. Surprised there is no iPad App.
Also would like to see some useful tools go into the iOS App like Weight Calculator, Scan Buddy Code and Dive Planner.

Keep up the great work!
