SAC vs RMV

Post by richiewrt »

Maybe I am confused, but it appears that what MacDive calculates as SAC is what I think of as RMV? Am I thinking about this wrong? I was under the impression that SAC was measured in PSI per minute and RMV was in cf3 / minute. What am I missing?

Thanks

Yes, this is probably more correct. It's always been called SAC even though it does factor in the tank size. I just left it this way thinking it was a more common term, and it seemed to be what people used more frequently.

Cool! I was wondering how I would go about calculating RMV and I'm happy to see that's taken care of for me.

Yes, this is a well-known error of calculations but it's not a big problem
