Hi,

I agree with pretty much all JF says :)

I'd still like to see start and end pressures, particularly for O2 as this way you can work out how fast your metabolizing O2 and I've found this varies from dive to dive. Your right dil pressures are different, SAC is irrelevant in CCR. That said, if I have the pressures included these then ios sync with my iPhone and I have immediate reference to how much gas I have pre dive and whether I need to have cylinders filled prior to a dive without having to test the pressures. A small thing but if it was available I'd use it.

I like the cell time recording as an indicator though the only sure test is a mV check prior to diving. Cell life is affected by so many other factors other than just time in use

Keep up the contributions and invite other CCR divers to provide input.

Regards,
Martin

Hello all,

I think all the needed information are listed.
But I don't think cell time is essential ...
I just would add CCR dive number to separate dive in OC and dive in CCR.

For me Stack usage time is in minute ...
And should it be possible to have an easier way to add time and deep for deco stop ?

Hello,

In Dive Log we can choose between 3 types of diving : OC, SCCR and CCR.
But when synchronizing with MacDive ... this option doesn't stay in Dive Log.

It would be nice to have same option between MacDive and Dive Log.
What about CCR in MacDive ?

Hi another rEvo diver here, I just installed MacDive and it is very nice, right now I am still on trial and checking out but I'll register probably when I am back from work tonight!

I can second what was said before, especially Cell age tracking would be sweet!

Anymore questions I'd be happy to help answering and looking forward to provide feedback once the features are implemented!

Cheers

Hello

Diving wrecks off Western Canada, we encounter strong currents, surge etc. Lower water temps.
Since i am new here, ( first day) will the info Martin suggests tie into a current log book page?
We also are using auxiliary equipment such a scooters.. will there be an additional area for that?
Extra gear, ie scooter, video camera, photo
Diving conditions ie currents knots, ice diving, deep wrecks etc.
Shore based, liveaboard? etc...
I just came on board, maybe this is in place. Looking forward to the soft ware.
Also , an area for issues we may of had, why we had them, what we did to return safely.
EX: Flooding loop while scootering in strong currents, cold temps, CCR flood inside wreck, any CCR issues and how they were resolved, weve had a few as a team.

Cheers Ken

Most of what you mention is already available - temperature, current, entry type, gear, etc etc.

The CCR specific stuff isn't (read through this thread and you'll see what people are after) but I'm hoping to address it over the holiday break. Best thing to do is have a play and see what's already available so we can just focus on the stuff that isn't.

Would it help to provide you with some log files from CCR dives? In my case Predator. This could give you some idea on what additional ccr specific information could be processed from the log files. I i.e. would really like to see markers in the profile where the set point had been switched as well as a PO2 graph. I think this shouldn't be too hard to do but it'll be probably much easier with some real world sample data.

Cheers

Hi

Ok, I'll be happy to help. I'll be on a vacation diving ccr for the next 3 weeks from Thursday on and will produce quite some data as well as have the time to upload it and add some notes to it so you will understand somewhat more about the values and terminology. I will upload the stuff on my Dropbox account and send you the link via email if that is ok for you?

Cheers
